missingWrote a review on 05 Deccomfortable roomsrushed staymisleading layout
The traditional Japanese rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable.
Our stay felt too rushed as we were only there for one night. I had planned to enjoy the private onsen and relax, but time constraints prevented that. The photos of the luxury room were a bit misleading. I wish the layout had been clearer so we could have fully enjoyed our experience.

Had 2 days in Kyoto, spending our time here lovely. The staff was very very helpful and attentive, offered us wake up calls and ironing free of charge. It offered great service and amazing food too. Got wake up service free of charge, not bad too. A subway station minutes from the property was really handy.

the window in our room creaked at night (kind of annoying). the irori lounge was a highlight with unlimited snacks! breakfast had a personal touch, and the private onsen experience was truly relaxing!

A surprise, made our night
The staff surprised us with a beautifully crafted card celebrating our honeymoon, along with a cozy private dinner. The semi outdoor bath was particularly serene, with only the stars above us as company.
The only inconvenience was the duvet. It felt a bit warm during the night. I should have adjusted the A/C, but I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere too much to worry about it.

While i was pleased with the dinner, the breakfast was such a huge disappointment. Missed it entirely! I had wished for a complimentary gesture for my birthday but received nothing. It's hard to believe they consider this a luxury hotel when the private onsen was booked up and didn't even have a chance to enjoy it!

The outdoor bath was such a relaxing
Experience after a long day of sightseeing. The room was well appointed, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. I did find the bedding a bit too warm for my taste, which affected my sleep quality.

excellent hospitality but minor noise issue
The staff welcomed us warmly with complimentary drinks, setting a high tone for our visit. Our Beautiful King Room smelled good, with a clean and inviting atmosphere. The private bath experience was well-timed and enjoyable, with beautiful lighting and soothing music enhancing the ambiance. The garden view from our room offered a serene escape from the bustling city.
The only drawback was a slight noise disturbance from the window during the night.

The sharing appetizers at nearby Kikyo Sushi blew our taste buds away, and if you're game for grilled goodness, Steak House Pound Kyoto Honten is awesome. On top of that, the outdoor bath experience at Nazuna was a zen retreat, perfect post-exploration. The staff made my fiance's birthday special, presenting her with a cake that melted our hearts.
The breakfast hours are a bit too bright and early for us night owls, but seriously, don't sleep on trying it! The early bird might snag a good morning treat.
